In a quiet and beautiful village, you can feel the cool air while mingling with the locals daily. To get Penglipuran village, you can use ordinary vehicle because it’s located on the main street of Kintamani, Bangli. Penglipuran village is about 6 miles north from Bangli. While, if you from Denpasar, Penglipuran village situated about 45 kilometers, or about 1 hour drive.

If we observe more carefully, Penglipuran has a unique topography, almost similar to Balinese traditional irrigation system or also known as Subak. The highest place was the village gate, once inside the village will be more sloping with row of houses that lined from top to bottom.
