Komodo Dragon in Komodo National Park
Despite the seemingly sparse exterior of Komodo National Park,a wealth of interesting flora and fauna inhabit both the land and waters of the Park. Komodo National Park is located between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores in the Lesser Sunda Islands of Indonesia. It was established in 1980, the park was also declared a World Heritage Site and A Man and Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1986. Komodo National Park includes bothland and marine areas: The islands were declared a national park to protect the endangered Komodo dragons and their environment, as well as the biodiversity of the islands. The marine park was established to protect the high diversity of marine life in the waters surrounding the islands, some of the richest on the planet.
Wakatobi Marine Park
Indonesia is an archipelago, so there are many beautiful sea here. One of them is Wakatobi marine park. Wakatobi marine park located in Banda Sea, Sulawesi. It is one of underwater paradise in world’s coral triangle. Wakatobi marine park has expanse of the vast reef along the waters with underwater topography, so complex is an exotic attraction for tourists who will enjoy the underwater sights by submarine activities.
