Marlborough castle built  in 1713-1719 by the East India Company (EIC), during the reign of Governor Joseph Callet as British fortress. The fort is located near the beautiful long beach of Bengkulu province. The building comprise of a JAIL, an Ammunition Storage, and army housing, there is also a tunnel begin from inside going through outside the Castle. Fortress Marlborough is the largest fortress ever built by the English people during colonialism in Southeast Asia.

Dian al mahri mosque that was the name of this mosque. Mosque with cupola made by gold. This mosque was built on land not less than 70 acres by a woman entrepreneur from Serang Indonesia called Hj. Dian Djuriah Maimun Al Rashid in 2001. Previously he had bought the land for the construction of this mosque in 1996.

This mosque before only for the individual, but over time the mosque was finally opened to the public on December 31, 2006. This mosque can accommodate about 20,000 people.

Borneo is the third largest island in the world. The Dayak people reside here for centuries, they believe that spirits are in everything around them. For this reason they believe that by tattooing an object or creature on them they can draw energy from these spirits. In the Dayak culture, tattoo shows the status of one’s wealth. More tattooed, more rich. The sachem of Dayak Taman(the indigenous people of Borneo), said, in the Dayak tattoo there other aspects than the symbol of the social strata, the tattoo is a tribute to the ancestral.
