Some of tourist seek for tradition of some interesting place. Like Jakarta or Batavia which famous with tradition of it inborn ethnic, Betawi. I think the most popular tradition from Betawi is wedding ceremony. Because over there, marriage is not only two person who being united in one status called married. But, more than just it, marriage is procession with complexities. Beginning from preparations, ceremony, until the attitudes after married to the parents in law, Betawi people have their tradition.

Laksa is one of traditional food from Jakarta. They say that Laksa Pengantin is one food that should made by the bride. Because the mother in law from her want to know that the bride could making some food. So, the mother can said that she has undertand to take care her husband. In the proposal of marriage, the mother in law ask the bride for making one of traditional food from Jakarta, that is Laksa, as a prerequirement to become her daughter in law. The parents in law from the bride bring some household furnishings, and one of them is case that contains vegetables. So, the bride should make Laksa from that vegetables. After enjoying this beverage, the bride only may bring by her husband to the new residen.

Another version say that Laksa Pengantin is served after three days the bride stay at the new residen or her parents in law house, as a celebration. Whatever the story behind Laksa Pengantin, it is one of traditional food of Jakarta which should you try to enjoying if you visit Jakarta. This food contains of thin rice noodle, chicken shred, boiled egg, tiny sea fish, and boiled potato, with coconut milk broth like curry broth, but very light on the tongue because it use fish and shrimp broth.

Sangeh Monkey Forest Bali

Sangeh is one of the famous  tourist place in Bali. If you are looking for monkeys in Bali, this is where you’ll find it. Sangeh famous because this is a village in which the monkeys to roam freely on a hill called Bukit Sari. There was also a temple called Pura Bukit Sari. Monkey here in power and is said to have three regions of the kingdom.
